Most days I wake up to pinch my thighs and pull apart my flesh.
The inches between that and bone, I analyze.
And yet such equations are lost to me, as I put down ebbing toast into my already stretching stomach.
And most days I scoff at the comprehending companies and the two by four ordeals they have selling ideals, but never enough to stop slicking on the image of myself they want; never enough to give up my mirror for confidence.
And see most days, I'm rather lost on the empty streets, wanting to feel something constant in the inconsistency; but when playing scrabble I'll pull out "spontaneous", and leave "capable" to my foes.
And to be these two apart in persona, I'll call it mischief, I'll call it life; but I'll still swallow down the placebos and take my therapy like the good little girl you want me to be.
Because objects I move with my mind are steirofoam coffins, and I wouldn't want to make you anxious.
